Welcome to Fly Ordnance!

Where the pristine waters of Hawaii meet the sport of fly fishing.

Fly Ordnance isn’t just a company name, it embodies the fly fishing lifestyle of “catch and release”, conservation, and simply having a great time on the water chasing BIG bonefish.

When coming to Hawaii to chase bonefish it is crucial to hire someone that is passionate about the sport and knows the waters around Oahu. Bonefish by no means are easy to catch and being able to spot these fish before you cast is step one and the most important.

Thank you for a fishing trip of a lifetime!! The hospitality you provided was incredible. The fishing was top-notch, loved that through Mike’s expert guidance, I was able to land my first Bone.  Megan’s famous sandwiches were an awesome bonus. Not to mention the double ribeyes!  Thank you so much, I hope to be back soon!”

Escape the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and stay on our property in our Ohana Suite. Our unit dwells behind our house on the North Shore, approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu Airport. My wife and I love living there with our two friendly Australian shepherds, Bodi and Freya. After a nice day of fishing, relax comfortably on the rooftop BBQ area with mountains and ocean views.

The studio is equipped with the following:

  • Queen-size bed, with linens provided

  • Air conditioning

  • TV

  • Internet

  • Living room area with a fold-out couch

  • Full bath

  • Small kitchen - two stove-top burners and a mini fridge.

The property is gated and completely walled with a lava rock wall. It's 1/4 of an acre with plenty of room for parking, fly casting, or playing with the pups. Kualoa Ranch, Polynesian Cultural Center, and food trucks are all within a 5 to 10-minute drive. There is a small beach across the street and access to many more picturesque beaches within a short walk or drive. Surfing, hiking, and snorkeling will be all around you. There are plenty of chances to see Monk Seals, Turtles, and the Hawaiian state fish (Humuhumunukuapua'a).

We provide airport pick-up upon request.

  • Michael took us out for a full day of fly fishing. It was our first time, and to say we were intimidated about fly fishing is an understatement. Michael made us feel so comfortable, and he took time to show us the ropes. We enjoyed every second. Michael went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable during the day. We had such a wonderful time, and were even able to enjoy the beautiful sights on the day. If we ever find ourselves back in Hawaii, we'll definitely give fly fishing another go with Michael.
